The ISPI Files is an audio drama I'm in the process of writing! It represents my personal philosophy surrounding stories, and all that's inspired me as a writer. I hope to finish the script, get my friends to help voice act, and release it as a podcast. I conceptualize it as a limited series, only ten episodes.
A secret agent is tasked with protecting stories while they deal with the trauma of a past failure. Meanwhile, their handler tries to change the system, a group of researchers play with magic they probably shouldn’t, and a private detective tries to solve her biggest mystery yet— how does she keep traveling to other worlds? Why? And will she ever see her partner again?

The Institute for Story Preservation and Integrity, or the ISPI, is an organization dedicated to the protection of all stories. In order to do this, it sends agents into the worlds of the stories. These agents keep the stories going according to plan, thereby preventing them from destabilizing and becoming unrecoverable.
Agent, Margaret, and Judith work for the ISPI, under the designations 02, 01, and 07, respectively. Margaret no longer works as an agent, instead acting as head of the Institute.
Crow's keep is the setting of the internal story-- the world that Agent is sent into at the beginning of the show.
It is a city of knowledge and academia, founded centuries before the story begins by a powerful mage named Merriweather Crow. The city is built around a central university that teaches both magical and nonmagical subjects. It is home to Cricket, Holden, Zara, and Sei.
